TECHNICAL PAPERS SOUGHT FOR
WITtec TM  2009

(Indianapolis, IN) The Indiana Industrial Operators Association, Inc. (IIOA) is accepting abstracts of papers to be considered for presentation at WITtec 2009, a conference and exhibition to be held April 14-15, 2009

Abstracts and Bios must be received by February 1, 2009.

WITtec is sponsored by the Indiana Industrial Operators Association and will focus on the key issues and challenges facing wastewater treatment. The conference and exhibition will offer a forum for technical dialogue, a products and services showcase, and a wide range of networking opportunities.

Abstracts may address the following topics: industrial wastewater treatment, municipal issues, chemicals treatment, physical treatment, biological treatment, collection and distribution systems, residuals and solids management, plant operations and maintenance, surface water quality and ecology, recycling opportunities, new treatment technologies, case studies, regulations and water environment policy issues.  The latest information is available on the IIOA website.

WITtec 2009 participants will include engineers, regulators, government officials, managers, operators, product and service suppliers, consultants, scientists, researchers, and others involved in water environment infrastructure and industrial wastewater issues.

Founded in 1995, the Indiana Industrial Operators Association, Inc. (IIOA) is an individual-membership, non-profit professional society, dedicated to the advancement in the profession of wastewater treatment.  IIOA fosters this advancement through comprehensive educational programs that benefit everyone involved in this widely diversified  industry, along with efforts to educate the community in its outreach programs. 

The primary mission of IIOA is to serve professionals in wastewater treatment, to benefit industry and society through education, information and social involvement.  Membership is open to all wastewater professionals and those who provide services, supplies, equipment and support to the industry.
